Terms of Service

Last updated: March 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vessel platform at vesselofone.com. "Vessel," "we," "us," or "our" refers to [Entity Name], a sole proprietorship registered in India, operating at vesselofone.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

Vessel provides managed AI agent hosting. We provision isolated virtual machines on your behalf, each running a single AI agent runtime. You interact with your agents through secure tunnel connections managed by our platform.

Account Terms

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and gateway tokens.
  • One account per person. Shared or automated account creation is not permitted.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal activity or to violate the rights of others.
  • Attempt to circumvent security controls, access other users' instances, or exploit platform vulnerabilities.
  • Use compute resources for cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service attacks, or other abusive purposes.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without written permission.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk automated messages through connected messaging channels.
  • Use your agent to generate illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

AI Agent Output

You are solely responsible for all content generated by your AI agent, including messages sent through connected channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and others). Vessel provides the infrastructure to run your agent but does not control, review, or endorse its output. We disclaim all liability for any actions taken by your agent or any content it produces.

API Keys (Bring Your Own Key)

You provide your own API keys for third-party AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). These keys are stored exclusively on your dedicated virtual machine and are never transmitted to or stored on Vessel infrastructure. You are responsible for all charges incurred through your API keys. Vessel is not liable for any third-party AI provider charges, rate limits, or service disruptions.

Open-Source Runtime

Your vessel runs OpenClaw, a third-party open-source AI agent runtime licensed under the MIT License. OpenClaw is provided "as-is" without warranty. Vessel provides infrastructure hardening, network isolation, and lifecycle management around the runtime, but does not warrant the behavior, security, or fitness of the OpenClaw software itself. For OpenClaw-specific issues, refer to the OpenClaw project.

Messaging Channels

You may connect your agent to third-party messaging platforms including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and Slack. You are solely responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service and acceptable use policies. Vessel does not control which channels you connect or how your agent interacts with them. Violation of a platform's terms may result in your account being suspended by that platform, and Vessel bears no responsibility for such actions.

Support Access

Vessel offers an optional support access mode that allows our team to view limited diagnostic data on your vessel for troubleshooting purposes. Support access is off by default, must be explicitly enabled by you, automatically expires after 72 hours, and can be revoked at any time. When enabled, access is read-only, scoped to the specific debugging task, and every session is logged (who accessed, when, which endpoint, and why).

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the data and content you create using your AI agent instances. Vessel retains all rights to the platform, including its software, infrastructure, and branding. These Terms do not grant either party any rights to the other's intellectual property except as needed to provide or use the service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from service interruptions.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard or by emailing us at contact@vesselofone.com. Upon cancellation:

  • Your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No prorated refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
  • Your vessel (virtual machine) and all data on it are permanently destroyed at the end of the billing period.
  • Account data is retained for 30 days after the final billing period, then deleted.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at contact@vesselofone.com.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vessel and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, liability for: content generated by your AI agent, charges from third-party AI providers accessed via your API keys, actions taken by your agent on connected messaging platforms, and data loss on your dedicated virtual machine. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may close your account through the platform or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your AI agent instances will be destroyed and associated data permanently deleted.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
